Employee Benefits Overview

At Richfield, we serve two customers in every employee benefit brokerage relationship:

  • the Plan Sponsor
  • the Plan Participant
In each case, our mission is to provide the type and quality of service that exceeds customer expectations.

The first level of services are a ‘Commodity’; basic services that every employer and employee expect. The second level of services are ‘Value-Added’; advanced services that get employers and employees excited, but are frequently harder to find and quantify in the marketplace.

For our Plan Sponsor customers, succeeding on both levels ultimately means they can sleep better knowing their benefit plans are meeting their goals and needs.

For our Plan Participant customers, succeeding on both levels ultimately means they can save, invest, and protect for their dreams.

In the employee benefits arena, we help both achieve their respective goals by coordinating, integrating and delivering employee benefit brokerage services in a continuous, smoothly flowing manner.

There are typically five phases in this process (see flow diagram below).

Benefit plans we advise clients on include:

Life Legal
Disability Long Term Care
Medical Defined Contribution
Dental Flexible Spending
